My wife Jean and I have been running Dunfly, in Ireland, since January 2013. We are fortunate to have a loyal and friendly customer base across the whole of Ireland, and until recently we attended a number of Angling and Country Fairs throughout Ireland, and it was always a joy to meet and greet the many of our customers who attended those events and dropped by for a chat. Sadly, the last two events we used to attend in Galway and Swords moved North and we decided not to attend anymore.

 

Throughout the past years, we have tried very hard to maintain affordable selling prices, particularly on our vast range of flies. This has only been possible due to the fact we have a great team of fly tyers, whom we've kept employed continuously since the start, enabling a steady supply of flies throughout the year from a single source. Also, we are fortunate that all of the skills required to run Dunfly are available in-house, covered by myself and my wife Jean, which keeps the runnning costs down.
